PCI Card Driver Setup

 

 

Click here if you need help installing your APU card.  Once the card is properly installed in your computer, follow the below instructions to install the driver.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For Windows 98, 2000, ME and XP

 

1. As the computer is starting, Windows will detect the new hardware.

2. Click on Next to continue.

 

 

3. Select "Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)".

4. Click on Next to continue.

 

 

5. Select "Specify a location".

6. Type in the following: D:\Drivers (The "D" represents the letter of the CDrom drive on your computer.)

 

 

7. Insert the CD into your CDrom drive.

8. Click on Next to continue.

9. The driver will be detected and Windows will be ready to begin installation. Click on Next to install the driver.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Installing the PCI Driver If the Add New Hardware Wizard Does Not Appear

 

Windows 98, 2000, ME and XP

1. Go to Start | Settings | Control Panel...

2. Double click on the icon.

3. Click on Next to continue.

4. Click on Next to continue.

5. Select Yes.

6. Click on Next to continue.

7. Click on Next to continue.

8. Windows will detect the PCI card and will begin searching for related drivers.

9. Click on Next to continue.

10. Select "Search for the best driver for your device (Recommended)".

11. Click on Next to continue.

12. Select "Specify a location".

13. Type in the following: D:\Drivers (The "D" represents the letter of the CDrom drive on your computer.)

14. Insert the CD into your CDrom drive.

15. Click on Next to continue.

16. The driver will be detected and Windows will be ready to begin installation. Click on Next to install the driver.

Windows will install the driver for the PCI card. Once it has finished installing, click on finish to complete the process.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Driver Installation for Windows NT

If you are running Windows NT, there is no need to install a driver for the APU-PCI card. As the software installs, it will recognize that the system is running Windows NT and will install the necessary drivers for you.
